What’s in Vickade

Vickade is a family game set on Camp Lantern Isle, a summer camp on an island, where everything you play is something a camp really does. Foam-blaster battles, laser tag, snowball fights, campfire trivia and party games, all made for families and church groups to enjoy together.

Camp Lantern Isle

The whole game happens on one island: cabins and a mess hall, a lagoon with docks, a ropes course, hills and forest, and lighthouses along the coast looking across the water to the mainland. A ferry runs between the two. The island is the home of every game, so it feels like one place you come back to, with the lanterns lighting up as the evening comes on.

Games to play

The big one

Dart Royale

A friendly battle royale with foam blasters across the whole island. Darts tag, nothing is hurt, and clever teamwork beats quick fingers. Squads can fill empty spots with bots, so even a small family can play a full match.

Rec hall fun

Laser Tag

Fast, glowing tag games in the camp rec hall and at the boathouse. Team games, capture games and free-for-alls, with the rules set the way your group likes.

Winter camp

Snow Day

The island in winter, with snowball fights, snow forts and a lot of laughing. Pack snow, build a wall, duck behind it.

Phones as buzzers

Bible Trivia

Questions from the Bible for kids, teens and adults, with the verse shown after each answer. Everyone uses their own phone as a buzzer, so the TV or computer is the game show and the whole room plays. Older players get harder questions, and younger players get questions made for them.

Family game night

Party Night

A set of party games everyone joins from a phone, like guessing who a Bible character is from clues, building a silly story one line at a time, drawing for others to guess, and filling in camp-style word games. No free typing chat: players pick from lists.

Explore the camp

Scavenger Hunt

Walk around Camp Lantern Isle and find hidden items, on your own or in teams. No blasters, just exploring, riddles and a race to the finish.

What makes it Vickade

Play together

Vickade is built for the living room and the youth room. Pick up a phone or a controller and play in the same room, or play with family and friends online. It is a place to gather, not a place for strangers.

Your light grows

Every player has a light that starts as a small spark and grows as you play, learn and help others. It never fades or runs out, and it only unlocks looks and celebrations, never an advantage. Camp badges mark kind and faithful play, like helping a teammate up, so winning is not the only way to shine.

Safe for kids

No chat with strangers, ever, and no ads. A parent area, protected by a PIN, controls play time, which modes are open and which questions younger players see. Everything in the game is made to be fine for children under thirteen.

Christ at the center

Bible Trivia is one of the modes, and there is a plain explanation of the Gospel for anyone who wants it, never as part of play and never pushed.

Where and how much

Free, for everyone

Vickade is free. No ads and no in-app purchases, so there is nothing to buy and nothing pulling children toward a button.

On the devices you have

We are building for phones and tablets, Apple TV, and Windows and Mac computers, so a family can play on whatever is in the room, with phones doubling as controllers and buzzers for group games.

The first release, and what comes after

The first release brings the camp and its main games, ready to play with family and friends. After that we plan to keep adding to the island. We hope to bring more places to explore, more to do on the mainland across the water, richer graphics for newer devices, and more ways to play together. These are plans, not promises, and we will share news as things are ready.
